We had to form a group and in that group we would plan, set-up and record our own podcast. All aspects of the podcast were in our hands to control.
I really enjoyed this project as it allowed me to edit the footage and through that I discovered that I really like editing things, I also enjoyed how the final version of the intro and outro sounded.
Although I enjoyed the editing process, the recording session I wasn’t as happy with, because I was unable to actually know what the microphone was picking up and what it wasn’t, plus if some one was to lean on the table it would wobble the microphone which I didn’t know about till it was to late.
If i were to do this project again, I would make sure the mic had a stand so it didn’t wobble and made sure we had a better plan for what to talk about rather than letting it be as free form as it was.
